Dahlias are the perfect summer flower. Blooming their socks off for months on end, they look as wonderful in the border as they do in the vase. Plus, the more you cut them, the more they flower - what's not to like?

Dahlias come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes, arranged into types such as pompon, cactus, decorative, ball and collarette. Flower colours vary enormously, too, ranging from yellows and oranges to pinks, purples and reds. And, with single-flowered varieties, you can provide pollen and nectar for insects. There's a dahlia for every garden.
