Within these 50 landscaped acres are delightful Edwardian gardens, including an Italian terrace, fernery, Japanese garden, maze and conservatory. In spring the azaleas and rhododendrons are breathtaking. The kitchen garden and orchards show how fruit and veg were grown in the Edwardian era, with many local and heritage varieties. The mushroom sheds and onion stores are in use once more, and restoration work has begun on the glasshouses.
