Last week we joined lots of keen gardeners at BBC Gardeners' World Live Special Edition at the NEC in Birmingham. It was a fantastic event, filled with inspiring Show Gardens, informative talks from familiar faces and advice from expert growers.

It was also filled with plenty of tempting shopping opportunities and we absolutely loved seeing what visitors to the show had purchased. Here's a selection of photos of visitors proudly showing off their purchases, from trolleys brimming with plants to large metal leaves ready to make a statement in their new homes.

Some visitors purchased so many plants we could hardly see them, while others had been more restrained, or just hadn't finished their shopping yet!

Jody and Glenda were queueing for the Plant Creche when we met, you can't carry the very tall Rudbeckia laciniata 'Herbstsonne' around a show all day! Rudbeckias, also known as Coneflowers, proved very popular at the show, lots of visitors were spotted with them.
